Political aesthetics must move beyond symbolic critique and become integrated into social action. Legere’s free afterschool, Saturday and summer program Paint Brushes Not Guns is a leading example of this new paradigm of aesthetic activism—one that is not merely about representation but about material change, cultural survival, and collective empowerment.”

All proceeds from Phoebe Legere Art and Music go to sponsor scholarships and free art training for children and youth. We give free after school, Saturday and summer programs for gifted and brilliant children and families in New York State, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Maine.
